My approach fused an industrial, system based visual style that felt at-home in the label’s birth-place of Ancoats, and thorough competitor research, partnered with extensive brand strategy development, to ensure that the label remained true to it’s origin story and audience. I built a sophisticated architecture behind the scenes to add meaning and weight to the visual style.

European distribution based in Leipzig with internationally stocked releases, both physically and digitally. A multitude of internationally signed artists and collaborators. Beatport charted EP’s and guest playlist entries. Although not necessarily quantifiable, many of the artists who approached M-Tone said that they did so for, not only the quality of output, but the unique artwork and visuals which was a nice touch.
